When tasked with creating a short film, I immediately thought about my struggles with defining myself. In 150 Characters, I think about my identity in a different way: there are multiple versions of me that all exist simultaneously, it's just a matter of which version I bring to the forefront.
I started off by writing my script and working on a storyboard for the script. While working on the storyboard, I came to a better understanding of the in-game camera and improved my Sims 4 skills. Since the in-game animations were peculiar, I had to adjust the script to match the actions of the characters in the game engine. Once my script and storyboard were revised, I recorded the scenes using the in-game camera and uploaded the footage into DaVinci Resolve. It was a new experience since I was so used to Adobe Premiere Pro, but I quickly adjusted. In DaVinci, I recorded the voices for each character, added different sound effects, and then mixed the audio. I also practiced color grading in order to capture my intended visual style.
